Custom Reeds is a small independent company registered in the state of New Hampshire dedicated to the goal of producing custom reed profiles that meet the needs of discriminating musicians.
Custom Reeds Guarantee
The goal for Custom Reeds is to provide musicians with reeds that play great, every reed, no tweaking. Custom Reeds are made in small batches of Arundo donax reed cane from the Var region of France. As this is a naturally grown cane we must test each reed, passing on to our customers only those that perform within a narrow dynamic range.
Our Guarantee: If you receive a reed that doesn’t perform like the sample reeds, Custom Reeds will replace it.
Sample Reeds from Custom Reeds
- Sample reeds are provided for evaluation at no charge, however your comments and observations on reed performance are requested via email.
- Requests for Sample reeds should be made by phone or email to: Gary@Customreeds.com.
- Sample reeds provided at the discretion of Custom Reeds.
